Comic Book Design

I recently found a new insperation. My enthusiasm for comics has alway inspired me, but of late I've been reading Manga Comic books, their a much longer read and more cinematic then general comics.

With this in mind I re-designed one of my characters 'Codename: RedTie'. I also took insperation from TV shows with simular subjects. Anime, Comics all gave me thoughs as to where to go with the design. But I chose to draw my artistic insperation from Cartoon networks Samurai Jack.

The simple, child like/child friendly artistic style would oppose the overall brutality and subject matter.

This is my first offering a re-creation of the character know as RedTie.
